DisruptHR Las Vegas Sponsored by Winder Law Firm

DisruptHR is an event designed by and made for HR professionals. While many people feel HR is a boring position, there are actual people behind the role who are juggling important tasks. In October of 2025, our very own Chief People Officer Jessica Winder gave a speech titled “The Audacity to Interview Pregnant.” The underlying theme of the speech is to treat people no matter what stage they are in like the qualified candidates that applied. Inspired by attending last year’s event, Jessica became one of the event’s organizers and MCs this year.

Supporting DisruptHR Las Vegas

In support of Jessica Winder and the Las Vegas community, Winder Law Firm sponsored DisruptHR Las Vegas 2026. It was important to Jessica to continue to grow DisruptHR Las Vegas due to the impact and reach it had in the community.

An Interactive Personal Injury Activity

As a platinum sponsor, Winder Law Firm had a table of promotional items but also an interactive activity for guests to get an understanding of the personal injury process. We encouraged guests to show us how they thought the process worked. Then, we helped them put the steps in order to display how it actually worked. Some people attempted to put treatment at the very end of the process, even after a settlement. Our main goal in personal injury is to make sure the client takes care of themselves first.

Sharing the Personal Injury Process

The importance of our interactive activity was to teach more people about the personal injury process because while a lot of accidents happen in the Las Vegas valley, we receive a lot of clients that misunderstand how it all works and why. For Winder Law Firm, attending an event that exchanged ideas was a nice way to teach and bring thoughtful items like car air fresheners to the table. While HR professionals have the reputation of looking out for the company and helping employees set up their benefits, we wanted to show them that we care about those in our community no matter their position.
